SOLID is an established residential and light commercial construction labor company that has been serving builders across the Metro for more than 30 years. We are an efficient, safety, and quality driven company looking for like-minded carpenters to join us for year-round work!
POSITION SUMMARY: Set doors, install interior trim and cabinets, install associated architectural hardware (such as handles on cabinets and doors), install handrails, and install risers. Install specialty moldings, fit and install prefabricated window frames and doors, door frames, weather stripping, interior and exterior trim, and finish hardware according to sketches, blueprints, or oral instructions.
If you are tired of " chasing base and case and hanging cabinets out of boxes in cookie-cutter houses" give us a call. We do about 70-80 custom houses a year and over 500 remodel jobs, most in high-end homes. What you don't know we will teach you.
Requirements:
- At least 2 or more years interior finish/trim carpentry experience. Not preferred, mandatory!
- Be at least 18 years old prior to start date
- Complete a background check
- Pass a drug test, physical, and job simulation assessment
- Have a valid driver's license & reliable transportation

If you live too far to drive everyday you can rent a cheap room for a couple of days. Leave your house Monday morning, stay one or two nights and head home Thursday after work. It's worth it if you can make more money!
