SciArt Studio Architecture and Planning, located in downtown La Crosse, Wisconsin, is looking for a motivated drafter to work on everything from presentation and preliminary design drawings to full sets of construction drawings. Our work includes residential, office, retail, industrial, and medical/dental, among others. Therefore, we are seeking a drafter or intern architect for full time employment with experience in some or all of the above project types. The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
A two-year degree in architecture or 3 or more years of experience in an architectural office.
Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD.
Experience with Sketch-up and/or Enscape a plus.
The ability to draft and coordinating complete sets of construction documents, including specifications, for a wide variety of project types.
Experience should include coordination with civil, MEP, interior, structural, and other consultants.
Code and planning reviews and coordination with local authorities having jurisdiction.
Gathering of information including research on building systems, construction details, products, etc.
Energy calculations (ComCheck).
LEED and/or Green Globes experience.
Highly motivated with a strong work ethic.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Can work independently as well as on a team.
Must be thorough and detail oriented.
