Program Manager, Transformative ProjectsWork Mode: HybridLocation: Hybrid - Kohler, WIOpportunityAs a member of a Transformative New Product Development project team:

Focus on categories within Global Product Innovation (GPI) – Toilets/Seats, Kitchen Fixtures/Faucets, Bathing Fixtures, Bathing Faucets, Styling Space and Commercial

Lead product development teams focused on Transformative projects – forward thinking products that will disrupt the marketplace.

Manage cross functional teams using the KBDP new product development process as a backbone but with the approach of a “Founders Mentality” – 1) a frontline obsession, 2) an owner’s mindset and 3) an insurgent mission.

Develop and manage the project budget with the team including development expense, capital tooling and expense tooling.

Develop, monitor and execute project schedules on-time.Manage deliverables and tasks within each phase of a project. Anticipates and manages tasks/risks within each project.

Communicate to senior leadership, up to the CEO, on project status, execution plans, and process.

Define and facilitate decision-making process for development teams. Coaches project team personnel to develop and implement cross-functional solutions to complex issues.

Establish and maintain relationships with senior leadership for the purpose of aligning Transformative project objectives and removing obstacles for project completion.

Specific ResponsibilitiesProject Management

Lead regional and global Transformative projects of high complexity, risk and business impact.

Provide structure and leadership for solving technically complex design and business problems.

Proactively identify and plan for project risks, communicating risk clearly, early and appropriately to leadership.

Managing your assigned projects' timing and financial adherence to plan.

Leadership

Challenge project teams to achieve innovative solutions.

Willing and successful in taking moderate risk.

Identify opportunities for organizational and process change.

Work effectively when organizational structure or processes are unclear or conflicting.

Lead brainstorming discussions.

Able to facilitate & resolve conflict and problem solving.

Skills/Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a product development related discipline (e.g. Engineering, Manufacturing, Marketing, Supply Chain) with a minimum of 10+ years of experience in project management. Experience in the development of consumer goods preferred.

Must demonstrate the capability to build cohesive, high-performance teams that relish the challenge of developing game-changing/disruptive products with unique go-to-market strategies.

Communicate effectively across the development network and at all levels of leadership.

Global product development experience is preferred but not required.

Ability to travel 10-20% including international.

The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location.
