Communications Specialist, Digital Asset SpecialistWork Mode: HybridLocation: Hybrid at Kohler, WIOpportunityJoin a growing digital asset management (DAM) team at a global brand! This role supports the KOHLER brand by loading, organizing, and distributing consumer-faced digital content to multiple marketing and sales channels. Attention to detail is important as this role ensures a high level of data quality, integrity, availability, and privacy.The Communications Specialist, Digital Asset Management will be expected to acquire a working knowledge of the systems content with respect to their specific business group assignment for the purposes of assisting with search queries and improving the search experience. Privacy and Rights, captured from studio workflows, are regularly monitored by this team member to limit, and restrict content from violating usage rights. This role will work alongside the DAM team to support the team goal of data re-use and articulate the strategic significance of information to the organization.Focusing on content syndication, this role will be interacting with various teams and this individual must exhibit a positive attitude, possess excellent communication skills, and be comfortable with remote collaboration. The Comm Spec – Digital Asset Management must be comfortable working with web-based applications in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate a strong aptitude for multitasking and managing project deadlines. Previous experience with digital asset management systems and the advertising industry is preferred.Specific Responsibilities

Responsible for the day-to-day traffic of images produced at Kohler’s internal content studio into the digital asset management (DAM) system and Kohler.com.

Uphold governance policies and procedures to ensure standardized data naming, consistent data definitions, and overall organization and discoverability of content.

Monitor metadata compliance to assure that correct information is supplied for all images being entered in the DAM system

Identify and manage the resolution of data quality issues, such as uniqueness, integrity, accuracy, consistency, and completeness.

Bring improvement opportunities to the attention of management and participates on process improvement teams as appropriate.

Provide DAM training and support to business users across global marketing and communications offices. Through user interaction, develop an understanding of user needs and how these differ to suggest solutions that work for individual audiences and encourage broader DAM engagement and participation.

Provide excellent service and support to those using Kohler’s DAM, going above and beyond to arrange, describe, preserve, and provide access to digital assets

Skills/Requirements

Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience working in digital asset management, project management, library services or related field. Photo/Video library experience a plus.

Must understand digital image asset workflow and how assets are used in an omni-channel experience model.

Working knowledge of digital photography.

Demonstrated commitment going above and beyond to help customers, system users, or patrons

Hands-on technical experience with library systems, content management systems (CMSs), or other large searchable databases used in the creation of web pages, media, or research

Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.The salary range for this position is $56,900 - $71,100. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location.
