Job Position: Reroof Foreman
Job Type: Full Time
Hourly Rate: $28-$35 Based on experience
Experienced roofer. Strong understanding of a variety of roofing systems. This position is based out of our Janesville, WI location and will service southern Wisconsin and Northern Illinois.
Job Description:
Self-motivated roofer who always strives for excellence in every task and excels at working as a team. Understands the roofing process from beginning to end and can remove and install roof systems with no assistance or supervision. Can assist other employees by answering questions and showing techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
Understands the roofing process.
Install, repair, or maintain roofs using various materials.
Team Leadership: Lead a team of roofers onsite, providing guidance, instruction, and support to ensure the successful completion of roofing projects.
Project management: Manage the entire roofing installation process from start to finish, collaborating closely with production supervisor to ensure project stays on track and meets quality standards.
Training: Train and mentor new employees
Safety: Prioritize and enforce safe working conditions for both crew and customers.
Job Requirements:
Roofing expertise: At least 3 years of experience in field.
Valid driver’s license and ability to be on company’s insurance.
Available to work Monday through Friday during daylight hours and weekends if needed.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Ability to climb ladders and walk around on roofs.
Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more while walking and climbing up ladders and stairs.
Excellent communication skills both verbally and written.
Comfortable working outside in all weather conditions.
