SUMMARY
Lays out materials and weld/assembles end item per engineered drawings.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Prepares materials for fabrication.
Lays out materials and assembles end item per engineering drawings.
Performs tasks needed to fabricate end item which may include: cutting/threading pipe, thermal cutting, welding, grinding, assembly, painting, and packaging.
Works with Sales and Engineering to ensure customer requirements are met.
Maintains inventory of perishable items.
Practices safe work habits and 5S housekeeping techniques.
SPECIFIC SKILLS
Able to use measurement tools
Welding
Thermal Cutting
Able to read and interpret prints
Work with hand tools including but not limited to: wrenches, grinders, drills, etc.
Possess good communication skills
Able to operate a forklift
QUALIFICATIONS
18+ years old
Ability to pass a physical and drug screen
Has 6 months to 1 year experience in welding recently.
Reliable attendance
Ability to wear PPE
