We are seeking a full or part-time Dental Hygienist to support our Janesville general dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care and educating patients on oral hygiene. As a Dental Hygienist, you will perform routine cleanings, examine patients for signs of oral diseases, and work closely with our dental team to deliver exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform dental cleanings (prophylaxis) and periodontal scaling.
Take and develop dental X-rays.
Conduct preliminary dental assessments and oral health screenings.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
Apply fluoride and sealants as necessary.
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures as needed.
Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation.
Stay up-to-date with dental hygiene practices, tools, and techniques.
Qualifications:
Associate or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program.
Active state licensure as a Dental Hygienist.
Current CPR certification.
Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
Ability to build rapport with patients and work effectively as part of a team.
