Job Title: Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable SpecialistJob DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. This role involves managing daily credit card transactions, creating and sending customer invoices, maintaining vendor accounts, and performing monthly reconciliations. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in accounts receivable and payable, proficiency in Excel, and the ability to adapt to our customized systems.Responsibilities

Manage daily credit card transactions.

Create customer invoices by pulling and creating reports from various systems.

Send out customer invoices to appropriate contacts.

Work with customer services to check accuracy of job pricing.

Send out statements as requested.

File customer invoices.

Enter purchase orders.

Vouch bills to correct account and class, cross-referencing purchase orders, packing slips, BOLs, etc. as necessary.

Keep vendor accounts accurate and up to date.

Pull bills from various sites.

Keep current on monthly/quarterly bills.

File vendor bills.

Perform monthly reconciliation of inventory.

Send out weekly customer inventory reports.

File sales and use tax.

Create monthly accruals.

Essential Skills

2+ years of accounts receivable experience.

Proficiency in Excel, including pivots and Vlookups.

Experience with month-end accruals.

Knowledge of accounting and general ledger processes.

Strong analytical skills.

Experience in invoice processing.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with QuickBooks is highly desirable.

Familiarity with EPMS Enterprise is a plus.

Ability to adapt to customized systems and software.

Work EnvironmentThe work environment is very relaxed and the office building features an open concept that encourages interaction and fosters a family-like atmosphere. The position is initially a 6-month contract with the strong potential to become a permanent role. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including PTO, holiday, dental, vision, and health coverage upon permanent hire. The schedule is typically from 8 AM to 4:30 PM, with some flexibility for the right candidate.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
