Responsibilities
Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, skid loaders, dump trucks safely and efficiently for both residential and commercial work.
Ability to dig residential basements and commercial site work
Perform routine maintenance checks and inspections on machinery to ensure
proper functioning.
Collaborate with construction teams to execute project plans and timelines effectively.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies on job sites.
Ability to operate late model equipment.
Move and grade earth, stabilize soil, and assist in site preparations as needed.
Load, transport, and unload materials and equipment to and from the job site.
Maintain detailed records of equipment usage and maintenance activities.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent education required.
Proven experience operating heavy machinery in residential and commercial construction environment.
Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) preferred.
Strong understanding of safety regulations and protocols related to heavy equipment operation.
Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor as required.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Pay is 30.00 – 37.00 per hour
