We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our crew as a Deck Hand / Laborer, with the opportunity to apprentice and develop into a skilled Welder/Mechanic.

Job Description:

As a Deck Hand / Laborer, you’ll support our marine construction projects by performing hands-on labor at job sites both on land and on water. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys physical, outdoor work and is eager to learn new skills in welding and mechanical maintenance. Over time, you’ll be trained by experienced crew members to take on more technical responsibilities, including metal fabrication and equipment repair.

Responsibilities:

Assist with daily marine construction operations including loading/unloading materials, site prep, and cleanup

Perform physical labor such as lifting, carrying, digging, and basic carpentry tasks

Work aboard barges and boats to support dock and pier installations

Operate hand and power tools under supervision

Learn basic welding and mechanical repair techniques from senior crew members

Assist in the maintenance of construction equipment and tools

Follow all company safety policies and procedures

Travel to various job sites throughout Northeast Wisconsin

Be willing to work in various weather conditions and around water

Qualifications:

Must be comfortable working on water and in outdoor environments

Physically fit and able to lift 50+ lbs

Willingness to learn welding and mechanical repair

Reliable transportation to and from work

Strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team

Basic mechanical or construction experience is a plus, but not required

Ability to pass a drug test and adhere to safety protocols
