We’re looking for a Maintenance Technician to ensure proper functionality of all machinery and facility systems, supporting production targets within a safe work environment. This role performs general maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to minimize downtime and maintain efficient operations.

Job Duties Include:

Inspect, troubleshoot and repair machinery, including saws, sanders, CNC routers, laminators, conveyors, pneumatic and hydraulic systems

Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and ensure equipment calibration

Replace or repair defective parts such as bearings, belts, gears, motors and electrical wiring

Collaborate with production teams to identify machine performance issues and recommend improvements

Maintain building systems including lighting, HVAC, and plumbing as needed

Adhere to safety protocols and company policies; identify and report hazards or unsafe practices

Maintain documentation of repairs, inspections and maintenance activities to comply with OSHA and local regulations

Follow lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures during maintenance and repairs

Track and maintain inventory of spare parts, tools and supplies

Update maintenance logs, work orders, and related documentation promptly

Participate in root cause analyses for breakdowns and repetitive failures

Suggest and implement cost-saving measures for equipment usage and maintenance

Coordinate maintenance activities with production supervisors to minimize operational disruption

Communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure timely repairs and equipment reliability

Be willing to work overtime or flexible hours with advanced notice

Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent

3-5 years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience, preferably in woodworking or furniture production

Hands-on experience with troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

Proficiency working in Microsoft Office Suite and Cloud-Based CMMS systems.

Preferred:

Associate’s degree or technical certification in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

Previous experience with continuous improvement initiatives or lean manufacturing principles.

CNC machinery maintenance experience

Welding/fabrication skills

Welding certification, Journeyman/Master Electrician or other technical certifications

Advanced proficiency with diagnostic tools
