Chippewa County Facilities and Parks Division is accepting applications for a seasonal Parks Caretaker position at Pine Point Campground, Lake Holcombe. The job duties of the Parks Caretaker include but are not limited to general maintenance, custodial duties and serving the patrons of the park. All Parks Caretakers are seasonal LTE positions under the general supervision of the Parks Manager.
2025 season will run approximately 4/29/25 through late October 2025
Anticipated work schedule: 7 days/week, approximately 5-6 hours/day depending on the demands of the job
Free campsite with electricity is available to the caretaker for the camping season (caretaker must provide their own camper)
Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED required.
Two (2) years of full or part-time work experience required.
Custodial and maintenance experience preferred.
Valid driver’s license required.
Cell phone required.
Must be able to work flexible hours, which include overtime, weekend work and/or split shifts to meet the demands of the job as determined by the Department Head or Parks Manager.

Starting Wage: $15.42-$16.76 per hour depending on qualifications. This is a non-benefited position.
