Robert Half is seeking a skilled Desktop Support Technician with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical users in an easy-to-understand and concise format for a company in the Bank - Savings & Loan field. This Desktop Support Technician role is best suited for problem solvers who prefer to work in a challenging and positive environment. Located in the Appleton, Wisconsin area, this Desktop Support Analyst role is a contract to hire role.Your responsibilities in this role- Offer your support on a variety of computer hardware and software issues by identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems- Supply computer desktop support in accordance with established policies and procedures- Keep up, explore, and fix computer systems, hardware, printers, and computer peripherals- Curate records of daily data communication transactions, issues and remedial actions taken or installation activities- Meet regularly and effectively with ticket submitters- Solve computer problems, and implement appropriate action/solutions- Match hardware repairs with the appropriate vendors Requirements - Ability to write reports, business correspondence, user instructions, and procedure manuals- Demonstrated knowledge of Desktop Imaging- General familiarity with Service Desk Tickets- O 365 experience required- Foundational knowledge in Workstation Hardware- Microsoft Office 365 experience desired- Deep understanding of PC desktop/workstations- Adeptness in Active Directory- Experience with Workstation Support- 1+ years of desktop support or other related experience Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
