Off-premise Catering Pantry Cook / Chef:

formulate plan (read event paperwork) & assign/delegate tasks to kitchen team

receive/inventory food for events

set up an effective pantry

follow event timeline

properly display, prepare, finish cooking all necessary food items for event

taste food items before sending out to be served to ensure optimal flavor and temperature

manage time effectively to breakdown within the scheduled time frame

always adhere to all the rules of kitchen safety and sanitation.

Production Kitchen Cook:

general food production to include hot line, bakery, cold prep or any other area

familiarization with receiving and storing of food products, follow FIFO principles

always adhere to all the rules of kitchen safety and sanitation.

Tasting Chef:

organize & pack food items for client tastings

properly display, prepare, finish cooking all necessary food items for client tastings

interact with clients to explain menu items & answer any questions in a friendly and professional manner.

Your knowledge and hospitality are critical to enhancing the guest experience at Whitehall.

Miscellaneous:

- assist with effective bread & produce purchasing

- packing food items for deliveries / events

- expediting prepared foods for deliveries / events

- driving vehicles for deliveries and /or events
