Nondestructive Test Technician – Level I (NDT-I) and Level II (NDT-II)

FLSA Status: Full-Time, Non-Exempt

Direct Supervisor: Operations Manager

Job Summary: Performs specific calibrations, specific NDT, and specific evaluations for acceptance or rejection determinations according to written instructions and to record results for the pressure testing facility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Performs disassembly, clean-up, and material handling operations to prepare material for NDT inspection processes.

Performs re-build, re-assembly and material handling operations in support of NDT inspection processes.

Responsible for making sure all company equipment is in good working order and report any damaged or lost equipment to management immediately.

Directs and trains other technicians in proper testing techniques and procedures.

Communicate effectively and promptly any and all safety issues or concerns.

Consistently maintain and promote a “Safety First” attitude with all employees.

All other job duties and responsibilities as determined by management.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Must possess a Level I or Level II ASNT certification.

Able to use hand tools.

Able to lift up to 75 lbs above head.

Oilfield pressure testing industry knowledge, troubleshooting issues and equipment maintenance a plus.

Able to pass all company required physical and drug testing examinations.

Work Environment:

Warehouse environment

May be exposed to dirty and dusty environment
