AECOM is seeking highly talented, self-driven and motivated CEI Construction Services Inspectors to be based in the West Palm Beach, Florida area.
This position is expected to begin in October 2024
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:The Inspector will be responsible for inspecting construction work and conducting field tests for compliance with contract documents for airfield and landside civil and architectural projects including roadways, bridges, and vertical improvements;Monitoring on site construction activitiesConduct inspections, observations of construction progress and materials testing and checking construction workReceiving general supervision from and assisting the Senior Inspector in the performance of their dutiesWorks under general supervisionMay assist with training entry-level employeesResponsible for monitoring conformance to quality, performance, specifications, and/or code requirements by performing inspection dutiesPerforms daily field inspections and maintains inspection recordsParticipates in punch lists, testing, and commissioningTracks quality assurance progressProvides input to documentation for area and equipment turnoversCommunicate effectively in English (verbally and in writing)
