As a chef in our kitchen, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our high standards of food quality and kitchen operations.Shift pattern off 4 working days followed by 4 days off on a rolling basis.Assist the Head Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations and ensuring smooth servicePrepare and cook dishes according to established recipes and standards, maintaining consistency and qualityManage and organise your designated station, ensuring cleanliness and proper stock levelsCollaborate with the Head Chef to develop innovative menu items and improve existing dishesSupervise and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environmentEnsure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations throughout the kitchenAssist in inventory management, including ordering supplies and minimising wasteParticipate in quality control measures, tasting dishes and maintaining presentation standardsStep in for the Head Chef when necessary, demonstrating leadership and decision-making skillsContribute to the overall efficiency and organisation of the kitchen
