REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in education, business, communications, or related field or equivalent education and/or experience. Two yearsi experience analyzing, interpreting and data reporting. Ability to prepare comprehensive narrative and statistical reports Knowledge of institutional research and querying data. Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software (particularly spreadsheet software.) Ability to make presentations utilizing various methods of communication. JOB DESCRIPTION: This position will provide support to the Ascend program by monitoring and evaluating student and program progress, overseeing the awarding of Ascend student incentives and assisting with program-wide initiatives. Duties include: data analysis, work closely with program director to create and implement a data management plan. Prepare reports and presentations about the program data for various internal and external audiences. Collaborate with researcher and evaluators studying the program. Analyze student performance (academic outcomes, retention, and graduation rates using student-level data). Recruit applicants for Ascend Program by participating in admissions events, using data to find potential applicants, and manage dissemination of acceptance letters, marketing, and mailings. Other duties as assigned. Rate of Pay: Non-exempt, full-time, temporary, benefits eligible, 37.5 hours per week, pay grade 5, $17.54 per hour. Deadline to Apply: July 22, 2020
