We are looking for a reliable Assistant Construction Project Manager to help plan and manage construction projects and oversee their progress along the way in a timely and cost-effective manner. You will be responsible for helping to budget, organize, implement and schedule residential construction projects.
We have jobs in Jefferson and Berkley counties.
Responsibilities
Oversee and help direct construction projects from conception to completion
Review the project in-depth to assist in scheduling material deliveries and estimate costs
Assist in overseeing all onsite and offsite construction activities
Assist in coordinating and directing construction workers and subcontractors
Assist in meeting contractual conditions of performance
Assist in the review of the work progress on daily basis
Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status
Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones
Skills
Proven working experience in construction management/administration
Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods
Knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards
Understanding of all phases of the construction process
Ability to plan and see the “big picture”
Excellent time and project management skills
Able to use Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook and Word)
Extremely detail oriented with excellent "follow-through" and "Follow-up" skills
