REQUIRED SKILLS:
NETWORK CABLING
Experience installing and troubleshooting network-cabling required. Tone generator and 4-pair tester are necessary.
BASIC TELEPHONE
Experience with troubleshooting basic dial-tone problems required. Butt set and punch-down tool are necessary.
DATA / COMMUNICATIONS HARDWARE
Experience installing workstations as well as typical networking hardware is required. This includes using your own laptop when needed.
With help from a technical-support team you will learn how to install, service, and troubleshoot servers, switches, routers, printers, cash drawers, receipt printers, wireless access points, department scales, credit-card readers, etc.
THIS IS PART TIME (but low-stress)
Scheduled at least one day in advance. Extra compensation for same-day dispatches.
You will be paid by cash transfer or direct deposit within two weeks of each job completion.
You will work as a 1099 contractor.
You will use your own vehicle and tools including a laptop computer.
