- Provide senior-level networking experience and leadership for customer projects
- Expertise with Enterprise-class Cisco Routers (Catalyst/ASR), Switches (Catalyst/Nexus), Firewalls (ASA and Firepower), Windows Servers 2016, Windows 10, Linux, VMWare virtual infrastructure (virtual switches and distributed switching), and system networking.
- Possesses a solid understanding of IP networking and all associate components.
- Manages network performance and maintains network security.
- Administrates and Troubleshoots LAN/ WAN network related problems, must be familiar with Telco procedures and troubleshooting.
- Thorough understanding of VPN, GRE and COMSEC tunnels.
- Experience with NetApp or other enterprise storage running on Fiber Channel or IP based infrastructure is preferred.
- Ensures that security procedures are implemented and enforced for all network devices.
- Evaluates, develops and maintains telecommunications systems, ie VTC, WEBEX, Jabber and Cisco Communications Manager. Extensive working knowledge of routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, multicast), VoIP solutions and cabling services.
- Ensures that long-term requirements of systems operations and administration are included in the overall systems planning of the organization.
- Provides technical leadership in the integration and test of complex large-scale computer integrated networks.
- Coordinates with all responsible users and sites.
- Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills, be customer- and detail-oriented, and possess good decision-making abilities.
- 8+ years of experience in designing, installing, configuring, and maintaining core network infrastructure solutions.
- Must be DoD 8570 Certified - IAT Level II
- Must be CCNA or Higher
- Must be willing to work independently or as part of a team.
- Must already possess or be able to obtain DoD Secret/SSBI clearance.
- Must be willing to relocate to Clarksburg, WV area.
