Looking for an Agriculture/Heavy Equipment Mechanic/helper to join our team.
We are a small Repair shop in the Lower Yakima Valley that is over 20 years in the business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for servicing, repairing AG and heavy equipment to ensure optimal functionality and maintain good communication skills with our customers.
Duties:
- Perform maintenance/service and repair tasks on AG & heavy equipment such as tractors, spreaders, cultivators, simi truck, pumps, feed trucks, and loaders in our shop or on the customers location
- Help diagnose mechanical , hydraulic & electrical issues and propose solutions for efficient repair
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential faults and prevent breakdowns
- Helping to install lubrication systems
Requirements:
- Able to speak and write English
- Illegal drugs free
- Have a valid drivers license
- Be able to lift heavy parts (+50lbs) bend over, crawl under machinery , push and pull tools
- Have a positive attitude to your Co workers and our customers, be a team player
- Be on time
Experience:
- Prior experience in agriculture & heavy equipment repair and maintenance is preferred, but not a must.
- Welding knowledge (MIG, ARC) is a plus, but not necessary.
