We are a growing agricultural organization headquartered in Yakima, WA.

We’re looking for a Human Resources H2A specialist to join our farm team who is organized, efficient and energetic to assist in administering the organization’s Temporary Agricultural Workers program (H2A), conducting various administrative and record keeping activities. Requirements:

2 years prior experience in agricultural human resources or administering H2A program is desired but not required.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint) software with excellent computer skills and proficiency.

Ability to prioritize tasks and able to work independently in a rapidly changing environment.

Ability to translate, read, write and communicate effectively in English and Spanish languages.

Must be able to effectively write reports and business correspondence. Must be able to effectively present information to large groups.

Act as a reliable and supportive team member.

Ability to work in a fast paced environment with frequent interruptions.

Operate effectively in stressful situations.

Responsible to behave in a professional manner consistent with company policies and standards of conduct. This includes, but is not limited to confidentiality, punctuality, attendance, respect, team work, positive attitude and leading by example.

On call shift including weekends during H2A Contract Period.

Valid WA driver’s license and clean DMV record.

Background Check

Responsibilities: This is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities.

Ensuring compliance with various entities including, U.S. Department of Labor, Federal & State as it relates to

the program.

Liaison between Company and regulatory government agencies on recruiting, housing, transportation, and worker abandonment and termination notices.

Manage and oversee all housing and transportation requirements of the program including audits.

Manage Inbound and outbound transportation coordination.

Inspect housing regularly for cleanliness and appearance, and enforce house rules.

Assist with employee issues regarding wages, workers compensation insurance, housing, transportation, etc.

Assist with the management of workers compensation claims.

Arrange for outside services, such as deliveries, housekeeping, maintenance and repair.

Participate in financial activities such as the negotiating of housing and transportation rates along with

purchasing supplies.

Explain Company personnel policies, benefits, contracts and procedures to job applicants or employees.

Assist with H2A hiring.

Manage recruitment reports.

Assist with payroll process and payroll audits.

Manage worker entry and exit interviews.

Qualify and train new van/bus drivers.
