Encompass Engineering and Surveying is seeking a highly motivated Survey Chainman to join our team. This position requires a qualified individual who will assist survey manager with land development surveying projects.
Responsibilities:
Able to take direction from the team leader and is learning to use diverse equipment such as GPS, conventional total station, auto levels, data-collectors, office computers and field computers.
As directed by a Team Lead able to download and upload electronic files and photos. Scan field notes and paperwork for daily assignments.
Good communication skills with survey team, colleagues and superiors.
Maintains inventory of supplies and prepares field truck. Ensures truck has appropriate equipment for daily assignments, sets up equipment at work sites, cleans truck and maintains equipment.
