We are looking for a very unique individual. To start this position is very part time. Filling in for our staff when off. At least 1 Saturday a month, helping with events and may turn in to more hours as we continue to grow. This unique individual will need to have holistic/alternative care knowledge of some sort ie crystals, supplements, essential oils etc. Our wellness center is about helping others so you will be responsible for making them feel that their time here is the most important part of your day. Every client is made to feel special and cared for while receiving services and while they shop. You will be responsible for all shop keeper job duties, from helping customers with services to managing the phones. Duties and responsibilities include working closely with customers to determine their needs, answer their questions about our products/supplements and services. You will be required to do some of our services. Such as foot detoxes, putting clients into rooms etc. We are looking for a motivated, self sufficient, detail oriented but calm and caring individual.
About the shop:
Body Kneads is an alternative medicine/holistic/health food shop. We are determined to provide an environment for all customers and clients to feel relaxed and get healing physically and spiritually. Our shop includes Massage Therapy and other forms of alternative healing such as Red Light Therapy and Halotherapy. Our ideal candidate is someone who can help our continuously growing cliental and be willing to expand your knowledge on alternative medicine and supplements with us.
We are currently looking for someone to help work events and 3 Saturdays a month and fill in if needed on occasion.
You will be able to earn tips in this position, and a 6-month pay evaluation. We also have incentive programs as well as you get a discount on products and most services (not massage) you can do free.
Responsibilities
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
Assess customers needs and provide assistance and information on product features and services
Help customers with setting up services for them
Welcome customers to the store and answer their queries
“Go the extra mile” to drive sales
Maintain in-stock and presentable condition assigned areas
Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss the available options
Build productive trust relationships with customers
Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
Proficiency in English
Basic Math skills
Working knowledge of customer and market dynamics and requirements
Solid communication and interpersonal skills
A friendly and energetic personality with customer service focus and a holistic mind.
Ability to perform under pressure and address complaints in a timely manner (this rarely happens)
Knowledgeable with word/excel (not required)
