Position: Nature Photography Gallery Host and Salesperson
Part to Full Time depending on sales experience and performance. Gallery hours 11-7:00pm Sundays - Thursdays, 11-9:00pm Fridays and Saturdays.

Company Overview: With Peter’s highly curated collection of Washington State Nature Photography that evokes emotions and stories, we aim to connect people to sacred moments, places, and awe at nature. The gallery also features the visionary photo collage work of Peter’s wife iMa, that represents the soul of Mother Nature in all her various forms. Initial Responsibilities:
1. Creating Great Visitor Experiences:
Greet visitors with enthusiasm!
Guide them with energy, sharing the stories and inspirations behind each photograph.
2. Stay Informed and Excited:
Keep the spark alive by learning more about Peter’s work and the stories behind each image.
Share your knowledge with visitors, making their gallery visit an exciting journey.
3. Gallery Vibes:
Keep the gallery in tip-top shape, ensuring that the energy and aesthetics are always on point.
Address any issues promptly, keeping the gallery's vibrant ambiance undisturbed.
4. Process Orders at the Register:
Handle both small and large transactions smoothly, ensuring every collector leaves with a smile.
5. Generate Leads:
Learn to identify potential art buyers/collectors.
Become proficient at either connecting them with an Art Consultant or giving them the info they need to use our photo mockup service when they return home, while collecting their follow-up info.
Build rapport with visitors, making sure they're as excited about Peter and iMa’s works as we are!
Advancement Potential:
This position has the potential to progress to an Art Consultant role providing personalized sales experiences in our Art Consultation Lounge. Our top Art Consultants will eventually progress into management roles.
Qualifications:
Outgoing, fun, and shiny personality!
A genuine love for nature and art, paired with the energy to spread that love.
Experience in sales, high end retail, or similar environment is preferred but not required.
Solid communication skills with a knack for captivating an audience.
Ability to juggle tasks and keep the gallery's energy buzzing.
A love for interacting with lots of people throughout the day.
Compensation:
$22.50 per hour during orientation and training period of first 3 months, followed by $25 per hour to start.
Team Sales Commissions after orientation and training period.
Opportunity for advancement to Art Consultant or Management roles.
