Old timey hardware store in rural farming community seeking MacGyver or DIY-er type individual, ideally with prior retail experience, to serve our loyal local customer base. Located about 1 hr from Wenatchee and 25 min from Chelan.
Looking for someone energetic about bringing forth creative ideas and experience to help increase sales, customer satisfaction, and store success.
Responsibilities include all aspects of retail including but not limited to stocking shelves, inventory management, customer service, reconciling nuts and bolts, problem solving, cashiering, merchandizing, promotion, and some heavy-lifting at times.
This will be a highly collaborative position working directly with the owners, but requires the ability to work independently as well.
Initially this will be a part-time position at 2 days/week with the possibility to become full time or add more hours in the future, if desired.
This could be a great position for a retiree, someone looking for a slower pace, as well as someone seeking professional growth or management in the future.
$18/hr + the priceless experience of working in an awesome establishment and creating a sense of community with really nice people.
