Chamberlin Agriculture’s Office Support Specialist is an entry level position responsible for a range of general clerical and office support duties including but not limited to; typing, data entry, electronic filing, phone, and front desk reception, processing forms and maintaining supplies. Requires working knowledge of office machines and procedures, attention to detail and good organizational skills to help assist customers and office team members as needed. Office hours are 8am - 5pm Monday through Friday at headquarters location (this is not a remote position).
Key Responsibilities:
Receptionist duties including (but not limited to) covering the front desk, greet guests/customers, take payments over the phone and in-person, all with a high level of customer service. First-up on Mitel multi-line telephone system, screening and transferring calls appropriately.
Support the bookkeeping team in:
Process daily mail and accurate distribution
Daily office errands, banking, mail drop-off, etc
Assure office machines are supplied and in good working order
Perform accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks
Maintain office central filing system (paperless and otherwise), scanning, record keeping and assist with record retention
In the team-based environment, this position may perform other duties (and special projects) as assigned
Qualifications and Skills:
Demonstrate a high level of customer service and response.
Minimum of 2 years office environment experience. Previous experience working in the agriculture industry is a plus.
Experience with computer systems and applications including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel. Sage 100 computer experience a plus, not required.
Ability to build relationships and work well with customers, coworkers, growers, and owners.
Strong organization skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail including the ability to proofread your own work as well as others.
Bilingual a plus, not required.
Excellent time-management skills.
Ability to communicate professionally orally and in writing.

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Salary and Benefits:
$17.00 – $20.00 Actual hourly wage may differ based upon skills and experience. The position is eligible for vacation, holidays, health, dental, vision and mental health insurance, 401k, and profit sharing. Details to be discussed during application process.
