ALDER CREEK FIREFIGHTING is recruiting for both entry level and experienced Wildland Firefighters for the 2022 summer fire season. We have multiple brush fire engines (Type 4s, 5s and 6s) dispatched from both the Twisp/Wenatchee and Spokane/Colville areas, as well as Type 2 chippers contracted for fire.
- Training and certification provided at no cost to recruits.
- Must be 18 yrs of age (Can be under 18 for training but must be 18 or older to work on a fire.)
- Must be physically fit and capable of passing the arduous pack test (3 mile walk with 45lb pack in 45 mins or less).
- Meals provided when on fire assignment.
- Fire Season is typically late June to early October. Possible prescribed burning and forestry work available pre and post fire season, Apr/May and Oct/Nov.
