Little Red’s is hiring for Shift Leads to be responsible for running day-to-day operations at all three Wenatchee Valley Little Red’s locations and to guide general business strategy to help facilitate future growth. Their duties will include typical barista duties and training staff, tracking daily cash flow and setting sales goals for their team, helping to create lists of supplies, managing team to ensure consistent and wonderful product and service.
Duties and responsibilities:
Shift Lead will assist owner and General Manager to achieve goals and also ensure that all teams within a unit are functioning well. Your work may include:
Developing key performance goals and managing the performance of staff
Creating and implementing strategies for business growth
Encouraging promotion of staff
Ensuring that staff deliver quality coffee, cookies, food and service to guests
Working closely with owner and General Manager to retain new customers
Developing new solutions to meet customers needs
Improving internal processes for better productivity
Overseeing large projects such as custom bakes and events
Monitoring the financial health of a location-reporting loss etc.
Requirements:
Must have min of two years as a Barista with food prep experience. If have baking experience -major Points!
Keen strategic thinking and planning
Understanding of product management and financial monitoring
Excellent leadership skills, including goal setting, motivating, training and mentorship
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including writing, speaking and active listening
Effective conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
Good organization and time management
Comfortable in a fast-paced or high-pressure environment
In-depth knowledge of coffee and food service
Little Red’s Shift Lead must have excellent people skills that they use to manage their staff-building them up when they do well and offer constructive criticism and retraining as needed. They understand Little Red’s overall vision and will set realistic expectations for their team. We are looking for someone who is a strong communicator and who can address issues with employees or customers and motivate their team by acknowledging their strengths; They empower their team to be successful by delegating tasks and giving them opportunities to grow and try out new ideas. We are hoping for someone that is flexible and will use creative problem solving to respond and adapt to challenges such as missed sales goals or unsatisfied customers.
