Join our team at the Wenatchee Rescue Mission as a full-time cook!
Responsibilities:
- Food Preparation: Plan menus, order ingredients, inspect deliveries, measure, weigh, and mix ingredients. Prepare menu items according to company guidelines and adjust recipes to meet special dietary requirements.
- Cleaning: Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and ensuring proper waste disposal. Clean and sanitize tools after cooking.
- Food Safety: Adhere to nutrition and sanitation guidelines, and ensure proper storage of food and other items.
- Other Duties: Restock food and train kitchen staff or volunteers.
