Accounts Payable Clerk
Bethlehem Construction, Inc., an established Design Build Contractor in Cashmere WA, is in quest of an individual with Accounts Payable experience to join our team.
Essential Functions:
Processing accounts payable functions to ensure the timely payments of vendor invoices and expense vouchers.
Maintain accurate records
Process vendor invoices, check requests and expense reports for payment
Process payment of invoices
Analyze questionable entries and make adjusting entries in accounts payable
Operate from established and well-known procedures under general directions
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
Take ownership of all responsibilities and tasks at hand
Pay attention to detail, recognize inconsistencies and/or inefficiencies in processes, and address them.
Ability to be flexible, adapt to changing priorities, and jump in to help others when needed
Candidate must be well-spoken, professional, and polite when communicating with others
Self-motivated and positive attitude is essential
Experience:
Accounts Payable experience preferred
Through knowledge of general accounting principles and practices
Ability to proficiently operate a 10-key calculator
Knowledge of Timberline/Sage Software program
Sound computer skills including Microsoft Office Suites
