Planning Intern

The Urbanism + Advisory + Planning group of AECOM is actively seeking a Planning Intern for employment in the Washington, DC office.This position is expected to begin in Summer 2025. The planning intern will serve on multi-disciplinary planning efforts in the DC region’s most treasured places, from national parks to neighborhoods. As part of a highly collaborative team of urban designers, planners, engineers, environmental scientists, and economists, the planner will produce planning documents and facilitate stakeholder engagement efforts to help municipal, federal, and private sector clients advance transformational projects in the region.Internships at AECOM offer students in undergraduate and graduate programs the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in engineering, design, and infrastructure projects that make a real-world impact.
