Aluminum WelderLocation: Vancouver, WAPay: $28 - $35 per hourAre you an experienced welder looking for a rewarding career with a stable company? Join our team as an Aluminum Welder and contribute to the Maneuver Support Vessel (MSV) project, building ships for the army over the next 10 years!Responsibilities:

Read blueprints and weld to specific instructions.

Perform on-the-job welding and fabricating on aluminum in and out of position.

Utilize MIG welding techniques, with pulse arc experience preferred.

Weld in multiple positions as required.

Qualifications:

Prior welding experience on aluminum is essential.

Ability to read blueprints and pass fracture-tested weld tests.

Weld test includes D1.2 3G and 4G test on 3/8ths plates using MIG with 3/64th wire. Coupons/plates are about 5 inches long.

Environment / Shift:

Work for a large-scale manufacturer of structural steel and aluminum parts for government projects, including bridges, dams, nuclear sites, boats, and barges.

The facility operates on a 4x10 schedule: Monday-Thursday, 5am-3:30pm.
