Description Charlie Gilmur with Robert Half is providing an opportunity for an Accounts Payable Manager to join our team in Vancouver, Washington. This role involves overseeing the full cycle of accounts payable, introducing best practices, and maintaining relationships with suppliers and vendors. The position is based in a hybrid workplace, offering the right balance of flexibility and collaboration.Key responsibilities: Manage the full cycle of accounts payable, including the implementation and maintenance of internal controls and procedures. Develop and implement best practices for accounts payable in line with company policies and accounting standards. Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors, resolving any invoice discrepancies. Oversee the accounts payable team to ensure prompt and accurate processing and payments. Lead the team in developing process improvement tools, automating bill payments, and maintaining monthly checklists. Display strong leadership skills and motivate the team to reach their full potential. Oversee the approval workflow on all invoices and expense reimbursements. Manage corporate credit card and implement procedures to monitor and analyze transactions in line with company guidelines. Take charge of maintaining vendors, processing 1099 filings, and ensuring compliance. Oversee weekly check and ACH run, including familiarity with positive pay and banking. Participate in month-end close process, accruals, trend reviews, and/or account reconciliation.
