Staff Accountant

Description We are looking for a Staff Accountant for a short-term contract employment opportunity in Tukwila, Washington. The role focuses on the thorough management of accounts payable and receivable, careful execution of bank reconciliations, and diligent upkeep of the general ledger. This role is integral to the smooth running of our operations and requires a detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of accounting principles.Responsibilities: Execute full cycle accounts payable and receivable tasks Conduct detailed bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy Maintain and update the general ledger with precision Prepare accurate journal entries reflecting the company's financial transactions Ensure timely completion of month-end close procedures Utilize financial software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, SAP, and Epicor to streamline accounting tasks Manage full cycle payroll operations to ensure employees are paid accurately and on time. Requirements Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management. Experience in conducting Bank Reconciliations. Familiarity with General Ledger management. Ability to prepare and analyze Journal Entries. Experience with Month End Close procedures. Knowledge of NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, SAP, and Epicor accounting software. Expertise in Full Cycle Payroll processing. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Current certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred.
