Aerotek is hiring for Welder and Fabricator located in Spokane valley , paying 23$-30(Hourly)Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Welder and Fabricator to join our team. The successful candidate will read, interpret, and understand blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. You will weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions, and cut, rig, assemble, and build metal structures according to specifications. Your work will result in high-quality parts that are installed into finished products. Experience using a wide variety of machines, tools, and overhead cranes is essential. Welding certification from the Washington Association of Building Officials (WABO) or the American Welding Society (AWS) is required and company-paid.Responsibilities
Read, interpret, and understand blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
Cut, rig, assemble, and build metal structures according to specifications.
Produce high-quality parts that are installed into finished products.
Utilize a wide variety of machines, tools, and overhead cranes.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
3 years preferred experience as a Welder/Fitter/Fabricator in a manufacturing or production facility.
Knowledge of metal fabrication processes and procedures.
Ability to read and follow shop weld procedure specifications and understand weld symbols.
Ability to work well independently or in a team to meet company goals.
Intermediate knowledge of metal types, material properties, and components.
Attention to detail and accuracy in workmanship and compliance to customer requirements.
