Overview
The Restoration Technician plays a key role in performing hands-on restoration work for water, fire, mold, and storm damage. This position requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a strong work ethic to ensure each job is completed to A1 Restoration's high standards of quality and customer service. Technicians work closely under the direction of the Project Manager and are often the face of the company in clients' homes.
Key Responsibilities
Respond quickly to dispatch and job assignments
Perform water extraction, demolition, mold remediation, and cleaning
Set up and monitor drying equipment (dehumidifiers, air movers, etc.)
Document work with clear photos and daily notes in JobNimbus
Maintain job site cleanliness and safety at all times
Follow all PPE and safety protocols
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
Assist in loading/unloading tools, equipment, and materials
Maintain tools and vehicles in clean, working condition
Uphold professionalism and customer service on every job
Participate in on-call rotation as assigned
Daily Tasks include, but are not limited:
Report to shop or job site on time
Daily submission of days tasks/goals via yellow note pad prior to starting days work assignment
Review the day’s assignments with the Project Manager and/or General Manager
Load equipment, supplies, and tools as needed
Receive instructions on current job priorities
Head to job site and begin setup and safety checks
Perform demolition, cleaning, extraction, or containment work
Take photos and write notes of work progress in JobNimbus
Check and record moisture readings or equipment conditions
Notify the Project Manager of any job-site issues
Maintain clean and safe work areas
Finish scheduled job tasks or assist on additional job sites
Break down and remove equipment (as instructed)
Final site cleanup and walkthrough
Upload final photos/notes for the day into JobNimbus
Return tools and equipment to the shop
Check out with Project Manager and/or General Manager to review next day’s plan
IICRC Certification Preferred.
Pay D.O.E.
Must be a team play, trust worthy and able to maintain professional conduct at all time - whether in clients homes, businesses or out in public. Must have driver's license and own vehicle that is insured. Excellent communication skills are a MUST.
