Headquartered in Spokane, WA, we are a boutique, fully integrated real estate company specializing in Asset and Property Management, as well as commercial property sales and leasing. Our firm acquires, renovates, and manages apartment communities in highly desirable locations primarily in eastern Washington. We are a fast-growing company on the cusp of a large-scale expansion and are currently working on building out our portfolio into Idaho, Montana, Utah, and Nevada.

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN – MULTIPLE PROPERTIES ACROSS SPOKANE COUNTY – SPOKANE, WA

This key member of our property management team will be responsible for:

Ensuring service requests and units turns are completed at company standard

Respond to work order/service requests submitted by tenants in a timely and professional manner.

Ensuring work order accuracy and completion to company standards and tenant satisfaction

Performing various maintenance functions, including repairs, as needed, including, but not limited to: electrical, plumbing, appliance repair/install, flooring, carpentry, HVAC, grounds maintenance, etc.

Performing general carpentry duties, such as wallboard repair, countertop/cabinet replacement, finish carpentry, window/glass repair, door/lock repair, etc.

Performing various preventative maintenance tasks, such as, but not limited to: siding, painting, lighting, and sprinklers (blow-outs)

Ensuring the physical upkeep of all properties within the company portfolio, including daily inspections (or as needed) of property grounds, buildings, and common areas to maintain cleanliness and safety standards and identify any maintenance issues

Maintaining close communication with Director of Operations concerning any maintenance issues

Building strong professional relationships with our residents by providing outstanding customer service

Building strong professional relationships with current maintenance vendors and identifying/soliciting other suppliers and contractors

Other duties as assigned by company leadership

Candidates who apply should have:

High school diploma or equivalent is required

At least 2+ years of maintenance experience in property management or related field

Possess general maintenance and carpentry skills

Available to work 40 hours per week

Willing to work overtime when necessary

Willing to work on-call / weekends

Must be able to lift 75 lbs unassisted

The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation

Strong customer service orientation and presentation skills are necessary

Working experience with Apple Macintosh ecosystem is a huge plus

Working experience with AppFolio work order system is a huge plus

Valid driver’s license, insurance, and automobile is required

Must be able to pass a pre-employment screen and drug test

We offer competitive wages and fuel reimbursement

Salary: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour

Schedule:

Monday to Friday

Weekends as needed

High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

2 Years Property Maintenance (Preferred)
