We are looking for a Diesel Mechanic Technician to join our team at Wittkopf Trucking and Repair! You will be responsible for repairing various vehicles from pickups to class 8 trucks as well as heavy equipment.
Responsibilities:
Repair trucks, heavy equipment, and some light duty vehicles
Diagnosis and repair of hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and air systems
Perform routine preventative maintenance on trucks and equipment
Use diagnostic tools to test vehicle components
Provide occasional field service repairs offsite
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a mechanic
Knowledge of shop equipment
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Deadline and detail-oriented
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Valid drivers license
