R&R Heating and A/C is seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Commercial Startup Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, particularly in the startup and commissioning of commercial HVAC equipment. As a Commercial Startup Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of newly installed HVAC systems.

Key Responsibilities:

-Perform startup and commissioning of commercial HVAC systems, including but not limited to air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, and ventilation systems.

-Verify system performance through testing and adjustments to meet manufacturer specifications and client requirements.

-Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostics to identify and resolve any operational issues.

-Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.

-Document system performance, test results, and any corrective actions taken.

-Provide training and support to clients on operating and maintaining their HVAC systems.

-Collaborate with installation teams to ensure seamless project completion.

-Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial HVAC startup and commissioning.

Valid HVAC technician certification and/or relevant licenses.

Strong understanding of commercial HVAC systems, controls, and components.

Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.

Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.

Ability to use HVAC testing equipment and tools effectively.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
