Assistant Store Manager, Full-Time (Coeur D'Alene)×
Assistant Store Managers are the strong right hand to the store manager and responsible for the store's day-to-day activities. Their role is to optimize store sales and profitability. Under the direction of the store manager they will assist in the coordination of employee management, cash register operations and inventory. They aim to provide customers with an outstanding shopping experience.
Key Accountabilities:
Sales and “bottom-line” profits of the store.
Assist in recruitment, hiring and training of employees.
Assist with employee performance evaluations and improvement plans for employee development and motivation.
Provide a positive working environment and handle employee issues appropriately and in a timely manner.
Resolve customer problems or complaints by determining optimal solutions.
Ensure interior and exterior of store is maintained to company standards.
Utilize effective scheduling, to maximize productivity, profitability and margins.
Encourage store employees to take ownership for their performance and career development plans; follow up on a regular basis.
Provide exceptional customer service and ensure the employees also provide the same level of service.
Coach sales team on sales techniques and operational duties.
Ensure employee awareness of safety and emergency procedures.
Manage store revenue, including cash handling.
Management of all store operational issues, to include store housekeeping, store administrative duties, physical inventories, price changes, etc.
Successful candidates should be able to cite significant achievements, demonstrating their aptitude and motivation to handle all aspects of retail operational and merchandising management issues.

Ability to communicate effectively with customers, store staff, support teams and executive management
Ability to handle physical requirements to accomplish daily responsibilities
The ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and the willingness to get the job at hand done.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including morning, evening and weekend availability
