Transitions works to end poverty and homelessness for women and children in Spokane.

We have a current opening for a Daily Operations and Data Specialist at Transitions’ Women’s Hearth.

In keeping with Transitions’ mission and core values, this position supports daily operations and spends time with participants to build relationships, along with light data entry and reporting.

Primary responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:

1. Attend to tasks essential for the daily operation of the Women’s Hearth.

2. Conduct various outreach services including signing up women for showers and providing necessary supplies, assisting women with clothing, blankets, needs, etc.

3. Attend to donations: receive, sort, and put away donations and engage with donors.

4. Staff the front desk of Women’s Hearth: answer phones, warmly greet participants, donors, volunteers, and visitors, assist with intake paperwork and provide referral information to other community resources.

5. Maintain program data by ensuring intake and outreach data is accurate.

6. Conduct regular data quality reports, working with Case Managers to ensure entries and exits are up to date.
