Hotstart, Inc. has an opening in our IT Department working from our corporate headquarters in Spokane, Washington. This position is seeking a motivated IT professional who is excited to be a part of highly collaborative team, hungry to immerse themselves in the ever-changing world of technology, willing to share and teach new ideas as well as learn and have old ideas challenged, has excellent customer service skills, troubleshooting/problem solving skills, and a desire to automate boring and repetitive tasks.
Primary Responsibilities:
Customer service skills are of the utmost importance
Passion for technology and learning/sharing new ideas and concepts every day
Motivated self-starter with a drive to identify areas for improvement and automation
Ability to communicate highly complex information to a wide range of audiences
Analytical and problem-solving abilities
Support midsize enterprise network environment (Switches, Routers, Firewalls)
Active Directory/Azure administration (including AD DS, AD FS, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, etc.)
Project management skills for developing, documenting, testing, evaluating, reporting POC’s and installing
enhancements to completion
Create and maintain support documentation/knowledgebase
Work occasional evenings and weekends as required for scheduled maintenance, and/or unscheduled interruptions
and emergencies
Communicate IT changes to employees when necessary
Develop IT policies with IT Supervisor
Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or 2+ years equivalent work experience
Microsoft MCP/MCSA, Cisco CCNA, CompTIA A+, Net+, Sec+ certifications are a plus
Professional appearance and a good attitude
