We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Resident Manager (RM) to take a key leadership role in the care and day-to-day operations of our 8-resident Adult Family Home. This is more than a job—it's a meaningful opportunity to ensure our residents receive exceptional, client-centered care in a warm, home-like environment.
About the Role
As the RM, you'll work closely with the owner and General Manager to ensure the home runs smoothly, safely, and in full compliance with Washington State standards. This is a full-time position (40 hours per week, Monday through Friday) with some flexibility to cover additional shifts as needed, including occasional evenings or weekends.
Your Core Responsibilities
Deliver hands-on care to residents according to their Negotiated Care Plans
Administer medications, maintain documentation, and handle emergency notifications
Supervise, train, and support care staff to promote consistency and excellence in care
Coordinate with health care providers, social workers, and family members
Ensure full compliance with Washington State DSHS regulations and adult family home policies
Manage supplies, implement safety protocols, and support a positive, professional team culture
Step in to cover shifts when needed to maintain seamless operations

Clean background check and recent TB test (required)
Minimum Requirements
Current CNA or HCA license (in good standing)
Nurse Delegation Core and Diabetes certification
Specialty certificates in Mental Health, Dementia, and Developmental Disabilities
Current Food Handler’s Card and First Aid/CPR certification
High School diploma or GED
Continuing education documentation for CNA/HCA license
Compensation & Schedule
$23–$25 per hour, depending on experience
Full-time: 40 hours/week, Monday–Friday
Flexibility required to cover occasional nights or weekends
