We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Servers to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, ensuring that our guests have a memorable dining experience. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere.
Duties
Greet and seat customers in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel welcomed.
Take accurate food and drink orders using the Heartland POS system or other point-of-sale systems.
Deliver food and beverages promptly while ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
Handle cash transactions efficiently, including cash handling and operating the cash register.
Assist with bussing tables to maintain cleanliness and readiness for new guests.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders and address any special requests or dietary restrictions.
Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to answer customer inquiries effectively.
Uphold food safety standards by adhering to proper food handling procedures at all times.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
Skills
Strong customer service skills with a passion for hospitality.
Experience in the food industry preferred, with knowledge of food handling practices.
Proficiency in using cash registers and point-of-sale systems such as Aloha POS is a plus.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members.
Team player mentality with the ability to collaborate with kitchen staff and fellow servers.
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively during busy shifts.
