At IL Pasta Posto, we celebrate Roman cuisine through handmade pasta, organic ingredients, and a devotion to simplicity with great flavor. Rooted in authentic ingredients and Italian regions our Osteria is seeking an experienced Chef de Cuisine.
What We’re Looking For:
Someone who:
- Can craft house-cured meats such as guanciale, pancetta, and tesa
- Masters organic handmade pasta
- Can make gnocchi from scratch
- Leads with kindness and discipline
- Understands seasonality
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor kitchen staff with professionalism
- Execute seasonal Roman-inspired menus with high attention to detail
- Manage prep, ordering, inventory, and labor scheduling
- Uphold standards of consistency, sanitation, and hospitality
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of professional kitchen experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role
- Ability with in house-curing and fresh pasta production
- Strong systems mindset: inventory, prep flows, labor cost tracking
- An experienced palate and a craftsman’s mindset
