Job Description for Allsport Service Advisor
Repair Order Write-up and Cashiering
-Employee will be responsible for generating clear and complete repair orders that address the customer concern in its entirety, with detailed job descriptions for the technician that allow the forward progress of work, keeping technician from stopping work to seek further information from the service advisor to a minimum.
-Employee will ensure repair orders contain:
-All customer information, including name, address, and phone contact
-All vehicle information, including year, make, model, VIN, color, mileage, and document vehicle damages
-Detailed description of customer complaint
-Customer signature
-Employee will be entrusted to collect payment and cashier customer transactions accurately to maintain a balanced register.
Scheduling and Technician Dispatch
-Employee will schedule technician jobs appropriately on the weekly schedule, as well as dispatch repair orders to each technician’s inbox in the order of importance.
-Employee will maintain contact with the customer throughout the repair process regarding time of completion, parts and labor pricing, and any changes that may arise.
Warranty/Customer Pay
-Employee will learn and understand the manufacturer and aftermarket warranty systems, including:
-Knowing when to submit a warranty claim and when to charge the customer
-Understand how to submit and get payment for a claim from any warranty provider
A service advisor is the face of the service department. Maintain a courteous and professional attitude at all times towards customers and employees alike.
Pay d.o.e. pay range is $16.28 to $20.00 per hour with commission after probationary period.
