Description We are offering an exciting opportunity in Snohomish, Washington, for a Controller in the seafood industry. This role will necessitate a strong understanding of accounting functions and the ability to manage various financial tasks.Responsibilities: Oversee the accurate and efficient processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable Conduct cash flow analysis to ensure the financial health of the company Prepare and analyze financial statements on a regular basis Manage payroll processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments Handle invoicing processes, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly Perform credit analysis, monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action when necessary Prepare and submit monthly and quarterly tax reports Conduct boat settlements and fish taxes as part of industry-specific financial responsibilities Utilize accounting software systems for efficient financial management Participate in auditing and budget processes, ensuring all financial operations are compliant with industry standards.The salary range for this position is $90,000 to $120,000 + bonus.Benefits:Medical/Dental/Vision401k with match3 weeks PTO6 paid holidaysRequirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) Proficiency in Auditing Familiarity with Budget Processes Ability to prepare and analyze Financial Statements Proficiency in Cash Flow Analysis Experience with Invoicing Ability to perform Credit Analysis Experience in handling Payroll Knowledge in preparing and filing Quarterly Taxes Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
