Growing Cyber Security Firm, Cyemptive Technologies, Inc. is seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer to serve within the IT Services department. This is a full-time position located at our Burlington, Washington office. Work from home is supported and encouraged when onsite service is not required but regional proximity will be needed for onsite client services (mainly Skagit/Whatcom/Island counties.)

Specific Responsibilities:
Responsible for handling service tickets and alerts for our customers, including remote and onsite. The ideal candidate will be reliable, highly motivated, possess the ability to work well individually and within our team, have a desire to learn, and have a keen eye for detail and organization. In this position, expect every day to be different and fast-moving as we work to enthusiastically support our customers and make sure they are as productive as possible. A typical day includes solving a wide range of both routine and complex support requests spanning software, hardware, and network issues. As a member of our diverse support team, you will be able to leverage the more senior team members on complex issues. You will regularly interact with our customers to make sure their issues are taken care of and their technology is working for them, not against them.
Requirements and Qualifications:
Ability to provide excellent customer service and act as a true client advocate
Minimum work experience of 2 years in a relevant/related field
Must have experience maintaining, managing, and monitoring servers and workstations running Windows OS
Proficiencies:
Managing and administration of Windows desktop and server OS
Managing and administration of Microsoft Office 365 and standard desktop applications
Troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues
General networking and related hardware/software knowledge
Sense of urgency and consistency in follow-through
Attention to detail
Familiar With (a plus):
Scripting (Batch, Powershell, etc.) in general
Linux
Advanced Networking (LAN/WAN)
SQL Server Administration
Virtualization & cloud computing concepts and technologies
Security principles & technologies
Other Required Qualities:
Ability to transport yourself, and at times equipment, to and from customer locations
Demonstrate honesty, integrity, fairness and respect with excellent interpersonal skills
Professional attitude, presentation, and demeanor
Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
Can listen to and understand other points of view, issues, or concerns and respond appropriately
